FERRARI MASERATI LAMBORGHINI AND ROLLS ROYCE CARS IN THE PHILIPPINES?

When visiting the Philippines the last thing to cross our minds is Luxury cars. Living here for 10 years I was quite amazed myself.
I first started to notice the presents of luxury cars when visiting Bonifacio Global City in the Manila area.
I was walking around the area near St Luke’s hospital and could not believe my eyes. There were 3 dealerships side by side .JAGUAR  FERRARI and MASERATI . I was curious and had to have a look.

I entered the Ferrari dealership and made some enquiries even though there was no chance I could ever make a purchase. But the salesman was very helpful. I was told the Ferrari in the picture below would cost 20M peso or $400K US. The other model in the show room was more expensive at 25M peso.

I wondered if there were more dealerships in Bonifacio Global City and yes there are. ROLLS ROYCE, LAMBORGHINI, BMW, and I presume there are more.
With so many dealer ships there must be a market and wealthy customers!!!

 One would wonder where you would drive these cars with the heavy Manila traffic? Early Sunday mornings with little traffic you will see these cars cruising the streets Bonifacio Global City

A NEW RESORT FOR THE BUDGET CONCIOUS NOT TOO FAR FROM TACLOBAN CITY (DULAG AREA)

JANA’S RESORT When Filipinos and foreigners visit Tacloban and they have seen most of the sites they may be looking for a day with a difference. Especially now with the warm weather a nice swimming pool is very tempting. Foreigners and Filipinos may desire to stay in this type of resort if you like a quiet area There is a new resort about 38 km from Tacloban City in the Dulag area. The name is JANA’S RESORT. I visited this resort recently with family and friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a great day. THE ENTRANCE IS QUITE IMPRESSIVE I live in this area but closer to Tacloban To my best knowledge there is no resort of this type between Tacloban City and Dulag. FOREIGNER BUILDING A HOUSE IN LEYTE PROVINCE PHILIPPINES

INTRODUCTION I have foreign friends in different parts of the Philippines who prefer to live in condominiums or gated communities. This is a personal choice. From what I have been told from these friends rent can be anywhere from 50,000 to 70,000 peso a month. When you look at the rent that is 600,000 to 840,000 peso per year. In dollars that is $12,000 to $17,000 US/year  I should point out these condominiums are a bit up market and you could rent cheaper places. I am living approximately 35 km from down town Tacloban in the Dulag area. I found a barangay with the help of my wife that is safe and just inland from the sea. To go for a swim or just relax the Pacific Ocean is only a few kilometers away.
