 PLEASE FOR MY DAUGHTER PRINCESS PATRICIA FUTURE


My name is Robert Smith. I was born in Canada and am a permanent resident of Australia. I am now 70 and not in the best of health, but this GoFundMe is not about me.

My daughter was born in the Philippines on 16 August 2015. At this time, I was being treated for bowel cancer, but this was by far the birth and the most immense joy of my life. I was so happy, stunned, and emotional.

The effects of chemo have limited my ability to work, but I have tried so hard for my daughter's future.

This is hard to say, but my wife was unfaithful while being treated for cancer, and as expected, the marriage was over. Princess was only three years old, and my heart was broken, but I never left my responsibilities. I always do what I can, even when it is hard because of a lack of funds.

I am not afraid to die; my fear is adequate funds for my daughter's needs and to complete school and higher education. I think deeply about this every day.

I have helped so many others in my life when possible, and I am a humble person. I have done my best in these extreme circumstances and now ask for help.

I have enquired to Australian and Canadian social security; no support appears to be forthcoming if I pass.

The funds raised will go into a trust and be distributed for my daughter's needs and to complete her education when I pass away.

All donations would be so highly appreciated.

A NEW RESORT FOR THE BUDGET CONCIOUS NOT TOO FAR FROM TACLOBAN CITY (DULAG AREA)

JANA’S RESORT When Filipinos and foreigners visit Tacloban and they have seen most of the sites they may be looking for a day with a difference. Especially now with the warm weather a nice swimming pool is very tempting. Foreigners and Filipinos may desire to stay in this type of resort if you like a quiet area There is a new resort about 38 km from Tacloban City in the Dulag area. The name is JANA’S RESORT. I visited this resort recently with family and friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a great day. THE ENTRANCE IS QUITE IMPRESSIVE I live in this area but closer to Tacloban To my best knowledge there is no resort of this type between Tacloban City and Dulag. There are a few pension houses on the way but nothing like this. Madonna of Japan Tacloban Leyte Philippines Introduction Madonna of Japan can be described as a Memorial Park located on Kanhuraw Hill that is not too far from Tacloban City Hall. After World War 2 there was hatred between Filipinos and Japanese but the two nations eventually reconciled. The Japanese Government erected a monument of Maria Kannon in this area. This became known as The Madonna of Japan Memorial Park. Link to location map   It is a symbol of friendship between the Filipino and Japanese people after World War 2. What I find odd is this area where the park has been erected was the camping ground for Japanese troops during occupation!
